Ayurvedic Treatment for Male Sexual Health Problems

Confidential Ayurvedic care for erectile dysfunction, low sperm count and premature ejaculation, based on the classical science of Vajikarana.

Vajikarana, one of the eight classical branches of Ayurveda, is devoted to healthy sexual function, fertility and vitality. It describes Shukra Dhatu — the reproductive tissue — as the most refined of the seven body tissues, formed only when digestion is strong and every earlier tissue is well nourished. This is why sexual health is so closely tied to overall health: weak Agni, poor sleep, chronic illness, stress and unhealthy habits all reach Shukra in the end.

Ayurveda also gives a central place to the mind. Desire, confidence and performance depend on a calm, satisfied mind as much as on the body. Every plan therefore looks at physical health, emotional health and the relationship, in strict confidence.

Conditions we treat

Erectile Dysfunction Klaibya

Charaka describes four kinds of Klaibya — from defects of the seed, from disease or injury of the organ, from ageing and from depletion of Shukra — and names worry, grief and fear among its causes. Modern understanding is similar: erectile problems can come from stress, diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking, alcohol, hormonal changes or poor circulation. Care addresses the cause found for you: nourishing food and routine to rebuild strength, managing blood sugar and weight, reducing alcohol and tobacco, improving sleep and easing the anxiety that often keeps the problem going.

Oligospermia (Low Sperm Count) Shukra Kshaya

Low sperm count or poor sperm quality is understood as depletion of Shukra Dhatu. Ayurveda links it to weak digestion, nutrient-poor diet, excess heat (hot baths, laptops on the lap, long hours near heat), smoking, alcohol, late nights and chronic stress. Care focuses on nourishing, Shukra-building food such as milk, ghee, nuts and seasonal fruit where digestion allows, a regular daily routine, healthy weight and avoiding the habits that deplete Shukra — alongside semen analysis and assessment of both partners where relevant.

Premature Ejaculation Shukragata Vata

Ayurveda sees premature ejaculation mainly as aggravated Vata affecting Shukra, often with anxiety, overstimulation and an unsettled mind. Vata-calming food, a steady routine with sufficient sleep, reducing stimulants, stress management and open communication with the partner are the core of care. Anxiety about performance is common, and addressing it is often as important as any physical measure.

Causes according to Ayurveda

  • Weak Agni and poor nutrition, which leave the deeper tissues under-nourished
  • Stress, anxiety, grief and fatigue affecting the mind (Manas)
  • Excess alcohol, smoking and tobacco
  • Chronic disease — diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, thyroid disorders
  • Irregular routine, late nights and lack of sleep
  • Excessive heat, sedentary habits and overindulgence

Common signs

  • Difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection
  • Ejaculation sooner than desired, causing distress
  • Low desire, tiredness and low confidence
  • Difficulty conceiving, or low count or motility on semen analysis

Our Ayurvedic treatment approach

  • A private, detailed consultation covering health history, reports, medicines, lifestyle and stress
  • Correction of Agni so that nourishment reaches the deeper tissues
  • Vajikarana diet: nourishing, Shukra-building foods chosen for your digestion and Prakriti

  • Works on general health and vitality, not only on symptoms
  • Natural, food-based approach that supports long-term wellbeing
  • Planned alongside any treatment from your urologist or fertility specialist

When to see a doctor

Erectile problems can be an early sign of heart disease or diabetes — have your blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol checked. See a doctor promptly for pain or swelling of the testicles, a painful erection lasting more than four hours, or blood in the semen. Do not take sexual-enhancement products bought online; many contain hidden drugs.

Frequently asked questions

Is my consultation kept confidential?

Yes. Consultations about sexual health are private, in the clinic or online. You can also book discreetly on WhatsApp or by phone.

What is Vajikarana?

Vajikarana is one of the eight branches of Ayurveda. It deals with healthy sexual function, fertility and vitality, and teaches that strong Shukra Dhatu (reproductive tissue) depends on good digestion, well-nourished earlier tissues, a calm mind and a balanced routine.

Can stress cause erectile problems?

Yes. Ayurveda gives great weight to the mind (Manas) in sexual function; anxiety, performance worry and relationship stress are common causes. Physical causes such as diabetes, blood pressure and heart disease must also be checked, so both sides are assessed.
