Living Better with Thalassemia and Arthritis: Sarabjit Singh, 62
This case was challenging for me, and by God’s grace I was able to help him with classical Ayurvedic formulations, along with the right nutrition and yoga. ~Dr. Raghav Thukral
Living Better with Thalassemia and Arthritis
Sarabjit Singh was unable to perform daily tasks because of severe arthritis, and he also lives with thalassemia, a genetic blood disorder.
With a healthy diet, yoga and Ayurvedic formulations, his joint pain, fatigue and weakness reduced a great deal, and he needed no hospital admissions during his follow-up period.
Important: thalassemia is a lifelong genetic condition. Diet and yoga can improve energy and quality of life, but they do not change the condition itself. Blood tests, transfusions and iron-chelation decisions must stay with the treating haematologist.
